Q: What’s the difference between the Xbox One, PS4, and PC/Mac A10 Headset versions?
A: Color is the only difference between all 3 versions. Xbox One is green, PS4 is blue, and PC/Mac is red. Every headset is compatible with any 3.5mm jack.
Q: Can I use the new A10 Headset (Xbox/PS4/PC/Mac) with the MixAmp Pro TR?
A: Yes! Plug the black end of the A10 Volume Control Cable into the Headset Port on the front of both versions of the MixAmp Pro TR, and make sure the gray end of the cable is firmly seated into the 3.5mm jack on your A10 Headset. Please note: the A10 + MixAmp M60 is not compatible with PlayStation 4.
Q: Does the new A10 Headset provide surround sound?
A: The A10 Headset is a 3.5mm stereo headset, which means it only delivers audio (via a left and right channel); when connected to any device capable of processing and sending a surround sound signal will the A10 deliver Surround Sound. Using the A10 Headset with a MixAmp Pro TR will be able to deliver Dolby Headphone 7.1 Surround Sound.
This means the A10 Headset is also capable of delivering Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic 3D Audio. Click here for more information on 3D Spatial Audio and ASTRO Gaming products.
Q: Can I use Speaker Tags on the A10 Headset?
A: No. Only the A40 TR Headset offers customizable Speaker Tags.
Q: I can’t be heard by other players. What gives?
A: First, make sure the gray end of the A10 Volume Control Cable is fully seated in the headset. Next, make sure your microphone is down around your mouth. When the mic is in the up position, it is muted. Finally, test the microphone by plugging your A10 directly into a smartphone and make a phone call or record a message by talking directly into the microphone on the headset. Be sure to hold the phone away from you so you do not pick up your voice with your phone’s microphone. If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact Customer Support: astro.gg/AGHELP.
Q: My A10 has been physically damaged. What can I do?

Q: Why can’t I hear other players in chat with my A10 Headset?
A: Ensure your A10 Headset is securely plugged into the PC. Check to see if the voice application you are using is set to use the headset. Make sure the Volume Control Cable wheel is turned up. If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact Customer Support: astro.gg/AGHELP.
Q: How do I update my Xbox One Controller?
A: You can update your controller with ease. Here is the link to the video that will help guide you through that process.
Q: I cannot hear other players in chat using my A10 with the MixAmp M60
A: Ack! There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot this. Do a hard reset on your Xbox One by holding down the power button until it completely powers off. You should be able to hear it shut down. Next, try using the provided Volume Control Cable and the headset on a smartphone and see if you can hear others. Finally, make sure your MixAmp M60’s Game:Voice Balance is somewhere in the middle.
