Hey ASTRO Family, it’s that time of year again, in just two short weeks, PAX East will be upon us! We understand this event is very often “So much PAX, so little time” for all of you, so we wanted to let you know what we’ll be doing so you won’t miss a thing. Of course, no convention is complete for us without special guests and we’re excited to welcome so many of our friends and partners to our booth for you to meet.
Meet & Greets – Halo, DayZ & Stream Team
The Halo Championship Series Season 1 Finals are taking place at PAX East and we’ll be supporting OpTic Halo as they compete to become the first ever HCS Champions. Flamesword, ACE, CntrA, and Assault from OpTic Halo will also be at the ASTRO booth for a special meet & greet over the weekend. On Friday evening from 4:30 – 6:00, stop by the ASTRO Booth (#6124) to shake hands with the OpTic Squad and show your GreenWall support as they head into battle!
You can swing by the ASTRO Booth all three days from 2-3pm for high-fives with your favorite DayZ storytellers and Brian Hicks from the DayZ dev team. Share your thoughts about the game and snag insider knowledge from the experts themselves.
You’ll also have a chance to hang out with members of the ASTRO Stream Team, who’ll be joining us in full force this year. The Stream Team will be crashing the ASTRO booth between 3:00-4:00 on Saturday afternoon so you can kick back with the pros and entertainers of our livestream community. Check out the list!

Win Prizes!
As always with any event, we highly encourage you to rock your ASTRO gear around the convention. If one of our designated representatives sees you showing off your ASTRO Family pride, we’ll be sure to reward you with a prize. We’ll be giving away Upper Playground Speaker Tags, Hats, stickers and lanyards. And for that family member who is truly representing the ASTRO spirit, we’ll be awarding our League of Legends A30 headset as the Grand Prize.
Our friends at Operation Supply Drop are also offering a chance to win A30 PC headsets all three days at PAX. Be sure to stop by their booth for a push-up contest, where 2 winners per day will take home new sets of A30s. Good luck ASTRO Family!
And that’s not the only prizes we’ll be giving out. Get ready for our A38 #PAXSTRO Tag up!
At the start of every day, our crafty Community Manager, Cole Lovelady, will be hiding a couple A38 Speaker Tags around the convention. Clues will be posted to our Twitter as to where each Speaker Tag can be found. If you’re one of the lucky folks to locate a Speaker Tag, you’ll find a note attached on how to claim your prize. Not only will you be rewarded for your bounty, but we’ll post a picture of you with your new A38 headset. However, be forewarned, if you do not bring your Speaker Tag to the booth by 6pm that day, you will forfeit your prize.
