Hey ASTRO Family, we’re bringing you 2 new events Powered by ASTRO UK, including Multiplay’s Insomnia Gaming Festival and the GFINITY Call of Duty Open. Both take place this weekend with #i54 starting April 3rd and GFINITY starting April 4th.
Insomnia is the UK’s largest gaming festival with over 30,000 visitors and over 3,000 attendees who bring their computers for a weekend of social, casual and competitive gaming! This is the first Insomnia of 2015 and we are excited to see what the event brings, especially now they are partnered with GAME.
The UK gaming and eSports scene is in a stage of growth and it gives us great pleasure to announce we will have our first booth outside of the US in 2015 at Insomnia 54. In the booth we will have multiple Xbox One consoles running Battlefield™ Hardline with competitions and activities throughout the event. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to try our awesome gear and take home some great ASTRO and Battlefield™ Hardline products.
During Insomnia we will also be sponsoring Multiplay’s ASTRO Gaming Halo 2: Anniversary European Championship that will feature some of Europe’s strongest teams competing for £3,000 in the Xbox One Zone. Be sure to stop by to check out the tournament and test out our ASTRO A40 + MixAmp Pros at playable stations.
This weekend, GFINITY -who are fast becoming a leader in European eSports events, will hold their first “Open” event in London. The tournament sees a return to Call of Duty which has been a pivotal part of their success. Today, we are pleased to confirm that we are supporting GFINITY by supplying all the stations with ASTRO A40 + MixAmp Pros to ensure all the attendees have the option to use our equipment, very much like last weekend at the Call of Duty Championships.
Both Insomnia 54 and GFINITY will be contested by the UK & Europe’s biggest teams including our very own ASTRO Pros, Team Infused and HyperGames, who are both attending GFINITY in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Team Infused will also be at Insomnia 54 competing in CSGO, League of Legends and Hearthstone!
