Finishing 2016 with a bang, we’re gearing up for the next Major League Gaming LAN and this time we’re headed to Las Vegas! December 16-18th at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MLG will host an FPS mash-up featuring the first official Call of Duty World League Open LAN for Infinite Warfare, a special Overwatch Invitational Tournament and LIVE concerts from Dadalife & Mija! With the holidays & New Year just around the corner both communities are buzzing with excitement. This is one of the biggest Major League Gaming events in history, with wide range of gaming industry professionals, influencers & fans in attendance. If you are in the Las Vegas area or just a die-hard eSports fanatic, MLG Vegas is a party you don’t want to miss!
ASTRO Support:
Both the Call of Duty & Overwatch tournaments will be competing for 3 days against the world’s top talent and a chance to win their share of the $100,000 Prize Pool. The ASTRO Crew will be on-site all weekend offering audio support in the Open Bracket, GameBattles Booth and on Main Stage where competitor audio is powered by the MixAmp TR. That’s right, we’re powering every station in the CWL Open Bracket with daisy chained MixAmp TRs so all you have to bring is your headset & controller! But what if you don’t have a headset? Well you’re in luck! The GameBattles Booth will have ASTRO Headsets at every station for those that sign up to play with their friends. We’ll also be letting Open Bracket competitors borrow a set of our A40 TRs with a valid ID. Their will be a very limited supply of A40 TR Headsets available to borrow, so if you want a set, be sure to swing by the ASTRO Check-Out Station when the doors open.
ASTRO Social:
Along with our products & audio tech support, the ASTRO Content & Social Media teams will also be roaming the venue to engage & support the community. We’ll be capturing hundreds of photos, posting daily hype videos and interviewing community members about their experience at MLG Vegas. If you see us taking your photo – make a funny face, strike a pose, then search for your photo in our ASTRO Family Photo Album! There will be a constant flow of photos & several videos throughout the entire weekend for you and your friends to enjoy.
