We have long believed ASTRO simply makes gaming better. 10 years ago, ASTRO Gaming set out to learn what top professional console gamers needed in order to play better. The founding ASTRO Gaming team traveled the esports scene and after some time, they discovered that the problem teams were facing was they had no reliable audio solution. Many teams simply yelled at each other to communicate during matches. When you had a hundred teams competing in the pits, the problem increased exponentially. We wanted our solution to not only solve the audio and communication problems but to also withstand the rigorous demands top esports players put on their gear. It needed to be comfortable enough to withstand long hours, durable enough to travel around to events, and have clear, precise audio for better teamwork and quicker response times. In 2006, the A40 + MixAmp was born.

Since then, our products have set new standards and continually lead the industry with premium gaming audio solutions. We updated the original A40 + MixAmp with the A40 TR + MixAmp Pro TR. Taking what we learned designing for professional esports, the ASTRO Gaming team took on the task of creating a high-performance living room headset, the immersive A50 Wireless + Base Station. We’re just as serious about the quality and comfort of the gaming experience as you are, and we are always looking for new ways to innovate and elevate the gaming experience. We wanted to know what to create next as a company, so we listened to our audience.

When we conducted our survey, we discovered we were missing 80% of the market. A huge percentage of people who took our survey didn’t even own ASTRO products, and the fact that 60% of our fans responded and told us they didn’t own our gear showed us another problem we could solve. We challenged ourselves to create something that contained the essentials of an ASTRO Gaming products that we could deliver to a larger number of our fans.

We’re stoked to announce our solution: the universally compatible A10 Headset for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC/Mac, VR, handheld and mobile devices. The A10 Headset represents an unprecedented opportunity for gamers who are looking to take their gaming experience to the next level at the accessible price point of $60. We took the essence of what makes our headsets premium and created a comfortable, rugged, quality audio solution anyone can access for any gaming platform.

      1. Thanks for your response to our new headset, but you should know that you can connect an A10 to a MixAmp Pro TR. The 3.5mm audio interface on both the A10 Headset and the MixAmp Pro TR are compatible so your A10s can be a Dolby-enabled headset. They are also compatible with Dolby Atmos on PC and Xbox One.
