This guide will provide you with all the information you will need to set up your A20 Wireless Gen 2 Headset with your Xbox Series X or S.
Here is the ASTRO equipment you will need to connect:
- A20 Headset
- USB Transmitter
Step by Step
Step 1: Make sure your Xbox Series X|S system is turned on.
Step 2: Press the USB Transmitter’s multi-function button to enter Xbox mode. The transmitter light will illuminate green when you have done so successfully, and will illuminate white when in PC mode.
Step 3: Turn on your A20 Gen 2 Headset.
Step 4: Open your Xbox menu by pressing the Xbox button on your controller, then head to the Settings menu.
Step 5: Choose the Volume & audio output option.
Step 6: Under Volume options, make sure that the Party chat output is set to Headset.
Step 7: Under Headset audio, make sure that the Headset format is set to Windows Sonic.
If you have purchased a Dolby Atmos license, choose that instead and use the Dolby Access app to customize additional Equalizer and audio settings. Here is more info about Dolby Atmos and Xbox Series X|S audio.
Step 8: Close out the menu and start up your favorite game.
Step 9: You’re good to go! Be sure to check in-game options regarding potential player muting or other audio setup, as these features can differ from game to game.
