Step 3: Take the other end of the cable and connect it with your PlayStation 5 controller.

Step 4: Navigate to the Settings menu on your PlayStation 5.

Step 5: Navigate to Sound menu option.

Step 6: Under Microphone, set the Input Device to Controller Headset.

Step 7: Under Audio Output, check to make sure that the Output Device is also set to Controller Headset.

Step 8: While in this menu, ensure Output to Headphones is set to All Audio.

Step 9: Close out the menu and start up your favorite game.
You’re good to go! Be sure to check in-game options regarding potential player muting or other audio setup, as these features can differ from game to game. Your A40 TR Headset can also be manually muted using the mute switch on the A40 Inline Mute Cable, and volume + Game:Voice balancing can be controlled through the PS menu.
