Looking to add a few more pro strats to your day? We’ve got just the thing. The Breakdown is our new monthly pro Call of Duty analysis series, where we break down some of the hottest plays in the Call of Duty League.
In our inaugural episode, we go play-by-play during a Raid Hardpoint match between Atlanta Faze and the New York Subliners to demonstrate how Faze was able to break through NYSL’s CDL record-setting 11-win streak in Hardpoint and come out on top.
The Atlanta Faze has been dominating the CDL as of late, and you’ll see why throughout this set of highlights. How did they pull off their hard-fought win this time?
In this case, it’s all about how Faze executed a clinical “wide net hold”, where you send a player out on to each flank to decipher where the enemy is looking to attack from. It allows the team to pivot on the inside and avoid having to fight in the middle part of the map — this prevents being caught in a pinch.
Their next move? You’ll have to jump into our first episode of The Breakdown to find out.
Like what you see? Be on the lookout in the coming months for additional episodes on the official ASTRO Gaming YouTube channel, packed with all the pro Call of Duty plays you could ever need. Pay attention, because you just might learn something.
