What’s up ASTRO fans! We have a new installment of #ASTROPlays. This week we feature award-winning musician, songwriter, and record producer Tomo Miličević.
Music is a big part of Tomo’s life. Whether gaming or creating music himself, Tomo’s playlist evokes memories of his summers spent gaming with friends in high school and this tracklist is a blast from the past that anyone can jam to.
When I was creating this playlist I decided since summer is slowly coming to a close, I would look backward a little bit to my childhood summers in high school.
His playlist consists of artists from diverse backgrounds of music. Songs from Kendrick Lamar, Soundgarden, Weezer, Fiona Apple, A Tribe Called Quest, and many more. Any music fan will definitely find songs to vibe to when listening.
Most of these songs were playing in the background of a cloudy haze engulfing friends playing Nintendo or Sega lol.
Whether it’s while gaming or just going through your day-to-day music is always there to motivate you for whatever tasks you are faced with. It’s a universal language most of us all share and love. Tomo created this personal playlist for everyone to enjoy and capture the same feelings he experiences when listening.
If the songs are newer they simply capture that same feeling for me. I hope you enjoy it, in the same way, my friends and did back then, and still do to this day!
