There’s nothing wrong with a little change.

So even if you’re over the moon with your ASTRO A40 Headset, maybe you want to mix things up a bit. No shame there!

Whether you want to try on a new color, change up your brand, or you’re just curious about the products we have to bring that to fruition, you can pick up one of our A40 Mod Kits to transform your equipment and take it to the next level. Change it as often as you change your hair. Or your underpants. No judgment here.

Check out this video that shows you how to make the transformation in just 45 seconds.

If you’ve got your ASTRO A40 Mod Kit handy, pop it open to reveal the following items: noise-cancelling ear cushions, a voice-isolating microphone, padded headband, and closed-back speaker tags. (You don’t have to have expert table-throwing skills like we do. That’s just icing on the cake.)

Grab your A40 headset and start snapping off all of the external cushions from the headband and ear cups. Be gentle, this shouldn’t take a lot of force. Each component should pop off easily so you can start fastening their replacements on.

You don’t have to install every part of the mod kit. Just take the parts you want to change (a red closed-back speaker tag, a matching padded headband) and snap them in. They should fit snugly once you attach them.

Ready to pick up a mod kit of your own? Head on over here and grab one to join the party.
